91 Hostile Takeover

The teaser starts with a moving shot following the progress of a northbound metro-rail. It starts at approximately SW 9th Street and moves north.

It continues up to the Miami River.

Then it cuts and we are looking southbound down Biscayne Blvd. from above NE 2nd Street.

Then past the Dade County Courthouse.

Then we cut to a line of cars outside Reflections on The Bay behind Bayside Marketplace.

Then we go inside, only we don’t go inside Reflections on The Bay, we don’t even stay in Miami. We cross over to South Miami Beach and are inside the Park Central Hotel lobby. 640 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach.

Then we see trouble arriving. For this, filming has returned to Reflections on The Bay back at Crockett’s original marina.

Then we go inside where the front desk (of The Park Central Hotel) doubles as a bar.

Then we go outside again. They are talking on the balcony of Reflections On The Bay.

We then return to the interior, filmed inside the Park Central Hotel.

We see the shooters arrive thru the kitchen. Likely filmed inside the Park Central Hotel but I have not confirmed this yet.

Burnett takes care of the shooters inside the Park Central and then we see the opening montage. This is the same opening montage we saw in season 4 and will continue to see throughout the rest of the series.

Act 1 opens inside the OCB. This was filmed on set inside Stage A at Greenwich Studios, Miami.

Then we go to Burnett. Filmed on location at 3029 Brickell Avenue. This was for a period the home of Madonna and was used in several episodes of Burn Notice. Episodes 19; Rough Seas, 24; Seek and Destroy and 67; Square One.

Then we return to the interior of the OCB. Filmed on studio set.

Then we see Burnett take care of business in a sauna. Filming location unknown. Possibly at the Park Central Hotel.

Then we go to Manolo’s. Filming location unknown.

Then the filming returns to 3029 Brickell Avenue.

Then we see he limo pull up on the Rickenbacker Causeway by the u-turn underpass that we saw previously in the Miami Vice episodes: Walk Alone, El Viejo, The Big Thaw, Blood and Roses. As well as the Burn Notice episodes: Unpaid Debts, Made Man, and Dead or Alive.

Then we go back to 3029 Brickell Avenue.

Then we see Burnett have a series of flashbacks as he starts to remember his fragmented past. This was filmed on Key Biscayne or Virginia Key but I will have to investigate further to lock down the exact location.

Then we see a nighttime labor meeting where Burnett continues his plan. Filming location unknown.

Then we return to 3029 Brickell Avenue where the son is set up to shoot the father which is exactly what happens. Filmed there on location at 3029 Brickell Avenue.

Then we see Burnett leaving on a helicopter. This was not filmed at 3029 Brickell Avenue but next-door to the south at 3031 Brickell Avenue.

Burnett meets with his friend from the south. This was likely filmed at Opa-locka West Airfield but I have not been able to confirm this yet.

Burnett returns “home”. Again he lands next-door at 3031 Brickell Ave. though they make it appear that he is landing at 3029 Brickell Avenue but the landing and Celeste were filmed at 3031 Brickell Avenue.

Then we cut to Tubbs at the OCB. Filmed on set inside the studio.

Then we return to 3031 Brickell Avenue, to the pool house, where the son is eliminated.

Then we go to the Cooper meet. This was filmed on location at the Cape Florida Lighthouse located in Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park at the south tip of Key Biscayne. This location was used as the safe house for Crockett’s family in episode 4, Hit List/Calderone’s Return.
