92 Redemption In Blood

The teaser starts us off near the end of the previous episode with Tubbs and Burnett meeting at the Cape Florida lighthouse on Key Biscayne. All of the action in the teaser was filmed at or around the lighthouse. We have seen this location used in Hostile Takeover, and Hit List, as well as the Burn Notice episodes, Partners In Crime, and Where There’s Smoke There’s Fire. We also have seen it in the movies, Clambake and 2 Fast 2 Furious.

Then we see the standard season 5 opening montage.

Act 1 opens inside the O.C.B. Filmed on set inside Greenwich Studios.

Then we cut to Burnett at his residence. Filming location unknown but at a real house that is located on the water.

Then we see Burnett intercept a small drug shipment. This location should have brought back some memories for Crockett as this is where his beloved Daytona was blown up. This was filmed on location in the gravel pit at the north end of Virgina Key. We have seen this location used before in When Irish Eyes Are Crying and Missing Hours.

Then we see a speed boat at the NE point of Virginia Key, pulling out of the waterway that leads into Jimbo’s.

Sonny and appear to be looking out at the speeding boat. However in reality this was filmed on the west side of the island, around the northern tip of the island, and out of any possible view of the boat. We saw this same beach used in When Irish Eyes Are Crying.

Then we see a confrontation over the prisoners. This was filmed on location at the old oil tanks located in North Miami at 160th Street and NE 21st Ave.

Then we go to El Gato’s place where he is leaving. This looks to have been filmed on a studio set but I have not confirmed this yet. Location unsure.

Then we see a beach side meet. This was filmed on location where we earlier saw them fire at the boat and where we saw Gina take a walk on this same beach in When Irish Eyes Are Crying. At the north tip of Virginia Key.

Then we go to Burnett’s. Filmed on location but filming location unknown.

Then we see Celeste arrive at a restaurant and have a sit down with Cliff. This was filmed at the Cardozo Hotel, 1300 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach. The Cardozo was featured in the movie, A Hole In The Head. It has also been seen in the Vice episodes; Cool Runnin’, Nobody Lives Forever, and Theresa. In Burn Notice episode 7, Broken Rules. Also in the movies; Marley and Me, Scarface, Ace Ventura, and There’s Something About Mary.

Then we see Burnett walking on the beach. This was filmed at the same beach we saw twice earlier in the episode. The beach at the north tip of Virginia Key.

Amazing how the city has grown since Vice.

Then we go to a boxing gym. This was filmed on location at Verrick Arena, the old Coast Guard Hangar at Diner Key. We have seen this location used in Milk Run, Down For The Count Part 1, By Hooker By Crook and in the Movie All About The Benjamins.

As Crockett walks away we see behind him, the door that C+T walked out of in episode 12, Milk Run.

Then we see Cliff meet with El Commandante Salazar. This scene gives the appearance of being filmed on location but it was not. This was filmed on the grounds of Greenwich Studios in North Miami. The building we see is Stage D. It was filmed at the north end of the west side of the building.

Then we see Crockett being treated for his injuries. I suspect this may have been filmed at 1200 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach but it will take more investigation to confirm this. Location unknown, so far.

Then we cut to El Gato where he gains strength. This was filmed on location on Key Biscayne at the Cape Florida Lighthouse keeper’s residence.

Then we see Burnett struggling to remember himself. This was filmed on location as he walks thru Lummus Park on Miami Beach.

Then we see an exterior establishing shot of the OCB. This is the first exterior shot of the OCB we have seen since episode 86, Badge Of Dishonor. This is re-used footage that was first seen in Smuggler’s Blues.

Then we go inside. Filmed on set inside Stage A at Greenwich Studios.

Then we see Crockett pay Cliff a surprise visit. Filming location unknown but it certainly looks like a studio set.

We then return to the interior of the OCB. Filmed on studio set.

Then we go to a beach side Cafeteria. This was reportedly filmed at 1200 Drive, Miami Beach. I have not independently verified this location yet.

Then we see a convoy of trucks. They were filmed on location, headed east on NE 159th Street away from 19th Place.

Mid block they turn north into the plant.

The North Dade Justice Center can be seen in the background.

Then we cut to Burnett’s place. El Gato opens what appears to be the front door of the residence and it cuts to what is clearly a staged shot somewhere else of a cat leaping. The episode ends here. Filming location unknown.
